Brilliant post Jordan. I’m actually in the middle of drafting a similar post to this right now, because I completely agree with everything you’ve said.

When I first started out I asked friends and family to clap on my work, thinking it would help. It achieves nothing in the grand scheme of things, but only now my work is starting to gain traction on its own, I realise how pointless and futile it was.
